Decided to take my VFR to work today. It's been sitting in the garage untouched for 2 months. Last night it was covered in dust and cobwebs, along with leaves and grass clippings. I took a bucket of water down and just dumped it out over the bike. Then wiped the dust and cobwebs off with some paper towels - mostly so I don't have to sit on the dust. I didn't bother cleaning the sides or front of it, but I did wipe the headlights and mirrors.
This morning I came down to the garage and I wasn't sure if it was even going to start. I thought that after 2 months the battery might be discharged. Not so - it started just fine, just like it did 2 months ago.
